Life, Made Simple

Spurred on by my “Life, Unfocused” post, I went in search of ways to simplify, organize, and make better use of my day.  I found so many great ideas, I wanted to share them here. Hopefully this will help those of you in the same boat (I’ve christened it the Scatter Brain) with me.

Tsh Oxenreider, over at Simple Mom writes about the conflict between the urgent and the important in our daily lives, and how to resolve it in her article, Fighting the Tyranny of the Urgent at Home.

In another article, My Daily Docket is my Daily Lifesaver, Tsh tells us about her “daily docket” that she uses to create the ‘skeleton’ of her day. You can download the docket to use for yourself.  I’ve downloaded it and am filling out tomorrow’s docket tonight when the Bug is asleep. I’ll let you know how it works for me!
Kara Fleck, editor of Simple Kids, tells us how to set a rhythm for our home by creating flexible, but consistent routines in her article, 5 Tips for Creating Family Routines and Establishing Rhythm in Your Home.
Jamie, from Steady Mom, tells about how six things have revolutionized her To-Do list in her article, 6 Things To Do.

I’ll be adding to this list of articles over the next few days, so come back and see what’s new! For now, however, I am going to accept Jamie’s 30-Minute Blog Challenge, sign off, and go read to the Bug.
